The Central Statistics Agency (Badan Pusat Statistik or “BPS”) has issued the new Indonesia Standard Business Classification (KBLI 2025) under Regulation of the Head of BPS No. 7 of 2025 on KBLI, which revokes the previous KBLI issued in 2020. KBLI 2025 introduces new codes for newly defined business activities and reorganizes and recodes certain business activities previously regulated under KBLI 2020, resulting in significant changes from the prior classification. Further, business actors are required to update their KBLI codes to align with KBLI 2025 by 18 June 2026.
